What Can I Expect During My First Visit to Bay Pointe Chiropractic?

You can expect to complete a medical history questionnaire and "new patient" paperwork available on this website. You will then consult with the Dr. Kendall. This consultation is your opportunity to express your health concerns and expectations, and to ask any questions you may have pertaining to the matter. It is also time for Dr. Kendall to express his role in your health care and discuss your health prognosis. A physical exam will be performed which will include orthopedic testing, reflex assessments, and a specific Chiropractic evaluation. In most cases x-rays will be necessary to determine an exact diagnosis. "To see is to know, not to see is to guess, and we refuse to guess when it comes to your health." X-rays are performed in our office. (Please note: ladies please notify us if you are pregnant or you think you might be pregnant).

Dr. Kendall will review your x-rays and treatment will begin, depending on your situation, with an adjustment and/or physical therapy, if needed. Adjustments shouldn't be painful, although you may feel some discomfort until the pressure in the joint is relieved and the nerve interference is removed. Between your first and second visit, Dr Kendall will perform a comprehensive analysis of your x-rays, correlate your examination finding and prepare a written report of his findings.

On your next visit, you will view an 8 minute video presentation to explain many general aspects of your condition. Then Dr. Kendall will discuss the specific aspects of you case and make his recommendations to correct the underlying cause of your health problem. Treatment will consist of a series of visits specifically designed for your unique condition.
